I don't know which ingredient in chips makes me feel like crap. I could guess. You probably know. Maybe you're a scientist or something. If you are, why are you wasting time reading this? There are a lot of horrible things you should be working on trying to fix right now.
All I know is I like chips. They are great with a sandwich. But then after about 20 minutes of digestion time, I feel like crap for about an hour or so. It's like my body is trying to process Styrofoam or tissue paper or a bath rug. I feel like I am slowed down and my energy level drops and this fog envelopes me and everything I am doing. Then, I want to take a nap but I fight through it and feel better as the day goes on.
Knowing all of this, I still eat chips. I don't eat them all the time but I do eat them and I have to accept the outcome of this choice.
And, I do. Honey barbecue chips are just that yummy.
